We are invited by her to befriend those followers of Christ whose lives shine through with the love of God: whose dependence upon their Lord made them faithful and influential and whose
goodness attracts us to the one they served.
Far from being just figures from the past, they are signposts in the present, pilgrims with us on our journey and our brothers and sisters in the family of faith.
In their fellowship we experience the light, the might and the beauty of God.
Rita’s work is complemented by reflections on each saint written by members of the Durham Cathedral Community of Prayer.
